    To insure bio-hazardous materials are not accessible to the general public, laboratories using Risk Group 2 material must observe the following security precautions

    1. Keep doors locked when laboratory is unoccupied.

    2. Access to laboratory is to be restricted to authorized workers/students.

    3. Put away all bio-hazardous material and decontaminate benches at the end of the day.

    4. If any items are missing from your inventory notify UW Police and the institutional Bio-Safety Officer.

    5. If a break in occurs notify UW Police and the institutional Bio-Safety Officer.
