    Workers/students handling Bio-Safety Risk Group II organisms and material are required to receive training.

    Bio-Safety training consists of two types:

    Generic Bio-Safety Training

    Generic training is available on line and can be accessed by any UW worker or Student with a valid UW user ID and Password. The material covered in this course provides the worker/student with general bio-safety procedures.

    Laboratory and Project Specific Training

    The Principal Investigator (Faculty Member) will provide laboratory and procedure specific training to all workers/students handling bio-hazardous material.
