Lab/Shop/Studio/Satellite Maintenance Areas First Aid Kits
- Locate in areas with hazardous materials or equipment where access to a Department First Aid Station is not readily available.
- Install in a readily visible or clearly marked location near a campus phone, where possible.
- Display UW First Aid Emergency Procedures poster in the location of the first aid kit. Other recommended posters refer to " 2) General Faculty/Department Space on webpage "Posting and Document Access Requirments of HSE Legisation"
- Inspect every term (four months).
- No requirement for qualified First Aiders.
